I actually don't have an iPod. I want to get one though.

I have a 256MB Creative Muvo Micro that came free with my cell phone. It's free so I'm not complaining.

I'm seriously looking at getting a iPod nano at the moment.

128 mb? Thats like only 30 songs. Well, as your for question if you just want a little thing to carry around a listen music to from time to time, get the nano.

But if you want to have entertainment on those long car, aiplaine rides, or waiting onthe bus, get the 30gig Video.

Video FTW.

I have a 30GB Black iPod. I don't see how people can cope with having to delete songs so they can fit on their MP3 player...

I've got a mini and a shuffle. I would never get an Ipod Video. The whole concept is stupid: "Oh-yes-I-will-walk-around-town-staring-at-this-thing-and-crash-into-people-" It's a ridiculous status symbol. Video is just not something that you need to carry around and be exposed to in the same way as music. Sure, with the Ipod Video you can store data or carry around footage just in case you meet someone who's interested, but if anyone were to wave their video at me, I'd have to shove them off. Get that hideous thing away.

I've got the 30gig video, but don't go waving it around. I didn't buy it for the video (except sometimes I use it to watch films on the big screen via the video out function!), I only bought an iPod because they were the cheapest, from a reputable firm.

I'd looked at the new (and old) Creative Zens and they really don't cut it...the Zen Touch crashes and the Zen Micro only has 6Gb...and as for iRiver...their's is pretty good but is quite unstable too...and you need DAYS to get the video specs right for it to be able to play!

The iPod Video was cheaper than the Ipod Photo 20Gb, and I got an extra 10Gb, so thats what sold it for me...having video was just an added bonus

Default Ha

Yes watching videos while walking around is pretty stupid. But you could listen to music while walking and watch videos if you take a bus or subway to work for example.

I actually have two of them. I bought one about 7 months ago and it is a GPX 128 mb and it is also a flash device. It cost me $40. But the next week it went on sale for $29. > I learned about 2 months ago how to use it on my PS2 to help with files.

My second MP3 is a Creative Muvo 512 mb. I bought this one for $43. I really like this one. I think it can hold up to about 130 songs but I haven't put that many on yet to know.
