My Budget, My Desire and What Can I get?
I want to get a flat screen in the future. However, I am not up for spending thousands and thousands of dollars any time soon on this. So I have some limitations. I am looking for something around a 40" display or so, and want it to be $1000.00 or less. I am not a big fan of plasma displays, so I would probbaly prefer LCD.
Again, I am in no hurry, but if I can get a decent unit for a reasonable price, I will jump on it. So what should I be looking for? Should I wait until I can spend more?

We got a 51 or 52" Samsung Widescreen DLP TV for around 2,100 about 1 1/2 years ago. We have no complaints what so ever. I think they have smaller ones that would be less expensive, you may want to check into that.

Interesting. I just saw an add for a 50" plasma for around $200.00
The more I shop around the more I realize I will have to come up from $1000 if I want to get something I can be happy with, at least it seems that way.

I think you can find one if you keep searching the online sites ...where the best deals are anyway. Last year's models are always good for that too.
I want a new one, but I'm not going as large as you want. Don't know why the large screens don't appeal to me.

If you are willing to stay closer to 37" you'll be able to get a much better deal.
I'm going to get one for out bedroom (a 27") and I've seen prices as low as $200 on the internet.

Is that a plasma tv price? Sounds very cheap.

It's an LCD price. With the new technology coming out, prices are getting pushed down -especially on the smaller sets. Retailers are expecting this to be their biggest season ever, so you should be able to find some good deals.

Really it's still very low. My uncle bought 21" LCD for me for $500. What store who offer that price?

The longer you wait the cheaper they will get. If you wait for something like Black Friday or after christmas specials they can be unbelieveably cheap.

Re: My Budget, My Desire and What Can I get?
Thanks for the tip. We should have enough patience to have everything cheaper.
