Absolutely! I just wanted to get a crappy tv for my bedroom which i hardly see because i'm at my college dorm for the majority of the year so I found a 20 inch tv super cheap to just toss in my room.

I noticed at K-Mart the other day that they are now selling plasmas and lcd sets ...crap quality. It was sort of funny that the pictures on the older type sets actually looked crisper.

I would really like to have one of those wall tv's. But not ready to dish out the money for one yet. My tv is still working fine. Maybe when it stops working I'll get one.

Yup ...it's funny as much as I'm a television person, it's one piece of electronics I don't race out to buy just yet. Computers come first, followed by cell phone and then the tv/dvd stuff. But I'm getting the itch!

I'm a computer junkie first too - not so much the cell phone. My husband is the TV/surround sound junkie - which kind of makes me one by default since I have to help pay for his habit!

Won't those kinds of TV be more harmful to our health, in terms of their radiation emission, for instance?

I think the old regular tube has gone out of style. Everyone wants whats new. And with all these new gaming systems they make it hard for you to want anything less than the flat screen, HDTV's.
