Default Avoid the newer format

I just got through reading an article about the different formats and it was suggested that to get the most for your money you should stick with the 720p/50 formatting. The newer formatting is still way to costly, and the 1080i/25 just doesn't hold up to the 720p/50.

Thought I'd pass that on.

I agree you should avoid 1080i, but if you can afford to get 1080p then isn't it better to buy that, than to buy a cheaper 720p set now, and then just want an upgrade in the short term?
