Default DVD Players that play AVI files?

I know Phillips has a DVD player that will play burned .avis and such from your pc, and it is relatively cheap. Walmart used to sell them. Does anyone else selling an affordable DVD player like this?

I am going to get a second one. Very useful for those missed tv shows when you burn them to a dvd. It is very nice to put a bunch of shows on one dvd and watch them all.

Don't tell anyone though!

I think I'd especially use it for those marathon showings of Law and Order, Project Runway etc. Sometimes, I just want to watch a slew of one show for an afternoon.

Definately my favorite way to watch some shows. I used to do it all the time with Six Feet Under. Right now I still have most of last year's 24 on my DVR to watch in a big marathon session.

Ah well ...that's the way to watch 24! Love that show.

There are only a few that I'll watch back to back but for a rainy weekend, it's the way to go.

Oh that's so cool - I used to look for avi dvd players all the time and had given up. I just hate converting movies in order to watch them too time consuming!

Yup. I agree. The great thing about all the new technology is that you can work out ways to do things without spending all day doing it.
