Default RFI ad my URC MRF-260 HELL!

Hi all,
I am totally new to RFI and the grief it can cause. So here goes.

I purchased for my home theatre the URC MX-900 and MRF-260 IR blaster(not cheap).

Things were working intermittently but then after contacting URC support, I was informed that the issues I am experiencing is due to RFI.

I have no idea where to start troubleshooting this issue, not to mention(I think) their vagueness to rectify the problem other than to upgrade to another(more expensive) model of the product.

My equipment:
Denon AV-688 Receiver, Scientific Atlanta PVR from my local cable company, Panasonic VCR and Sony DVD player.

THey ar all located in a wood cabinet I built that is located about 3ft below my home's electrical panel(is this a bad thing?). I have over 100ft of cabling that is then converged in this location that go to my TV.

Any and all help is appreciated.
