I'm not very updated about new technologies and a little lost here. I want to buy a small sound system for my laptop in order to amplify my itunes player. I'm looking for something that sounds good. It doesn't need to have mp3 player or CD player, just something that I can connect to my laptop.

My budget is between $40 and $80. I've seen some iPod sound systems in KMart but I'm not sure if that's what I need or what is the best option for me.

I'm also wondering if I could later add wireless speakers for other rooms in the house to one of these systems and in that case if the system will need special requirements.
