I just caught the end of this news story yesterday. Does anyone happen to know if anyone else has been infected and where did he get TB at? All I heard was that he could be quarantined up to a year for this. That would be awful. Hope he gets better.
Oh man, I saw the headline on MSN but didn't bother to look...I guess I should...I highly doubt it's someone I know but it's still scary to think about who has what these days.
Well from what I read this morning so far nobody else has contacted it in his family. I am curious to see about the passengers on the plane though. I have no clue how long it takes to get the results back. This would be so terrible if someone on that plane came down with it.
I didn't give the article much thought but then something told me to check it out...great...he would be from Atlanta or his dad is...and that's near me. Here's hoping he didn't make any stops in my town, especially since I work in a store where lots of sick people come to shop (we have supplements, vitamins, etc)
So basically everyone thinks the dad might have infected the kid? And maybe
get some sort of monetary benefit or personal enjoyment? I see a good show or movie plot.
I actually never even thought that they were thinking maybe he infected him on purpose. I was just thinking maybe somehow he brought it home but now that you think about it how would that have happened without the father in law having TB also
I seen the interview yesterday on Larry King and I gotta say I definently don't get why if he is so contagious why they allowed him to walk the streets of Atlanta and exspose his wife and daughter to this disease. Like he said if there had come a time where they would have sent that other people were at risk he would have seperated himself from his family first and had never went on his honeymoon. I gotta admit what he said did make me wonder if the CDC is not being up front with the public concerning on how it all went down.
I just hope he didn't hang out anywhere that I was hanging out in Atlanta...I don't get out there much but when I am, there are a lot of people and you can never be too safe...
