I carry hardly any gadgets. Most of the time I leave my mobile phone at home. I often have my mp3 player with me, but it depends on what I'm doing. If I'm walking or catching the bus, then the mp3 is the first thing packed in my bag. Other than that, just the usual stuff - purse, lipstick, notebook.

It's interesting what becomes important to us ...what's really important for me is not feeling weighted down by a lot of stuff that I don't use.

my ipaq, earphones and 2 cellphones--my real phone and a decoy for thieves. lol. a lot of holdupping has been going on in our area because of cellphones. thieves would ride buses with you and thrust a dagger at you while asking for your cellphone. since almost everybody has a phone, they would not believe you if you told them you don't have one.

it's better to trick them by giving them a cheap phone as a decoy. that's what i plan to do that's why i carry around a decoy whenever i bring my cellphone with me.

it would be unfortunate, though, if they seized your whole bag. this is what happened to a number of people i know; one of them happens to be my former student whose backpack was seized by the thieves. to make matters worse, that was days before the major exams and most of her books and notebooks were inside that bag besides other valuables like wallet and photos.

I ususally have my keys, my phone and wallet. I used to carry a big purse stuffed with all kinds of things. But after having two kids I have enough of their stuff to carry.

I also carry my cell phone with me everyday. The other things I carry are a wallet, a change purse and the most important thing are my glasses.

I also carry with me my glasses. I can't stay in front of the PC without this.

thanks for that post, aima. i'm suddenly reminded to buy glasses for myself as i spend several hours in front of the pc everyday. my friend suggested that i wear glasses even if i have a good eyesight so that my eyes don't get strained.

It sometimes depends on what day it is and what you need for that day. As for me, there are certain days when I have to bring a pen and paper with me.

Not all the time, but for the most part I bring with me 1 cell phone and 1 digital camera. Once in a while the ipod shuffle. Not much. It also depends on if I'm carrying a bag or not.
