maybe its just for those times when you get out of phone battery and you really have to use it, never happened to you? :P ... i think its interesting anyway, like those flashlights you have to like pump, they use no batteries.

They are cool, but make sooo much noise as to be untrue. Maybe a combination of battery and wind up would be a better idea

I saw something similar to this from a guy who made a lantern/flashlight with a handcrank and also had a solar panel. They make them and distribute them throughout Africa so the people can have light at night. They don't have electricity so it allows them some productivity after it gets dark out.

Interesting. Nice to have for novelties sake but otherwise, I don't think I'd ever use it.

Yeah, it's one of those things that seems fun, but doesn't have much use. Still, you never know when it might come in handy.

Have had one of these for a while, and they're great! You don't even realize it until there's a power outage and then you're happy you've got one. it was a gift!

I have never heard of anything like this.I have a grandson who loves to go camping maybe I will get him one. He might like it.
