Default YouTube

I was wondering if anyone here uses youtube? My husband has gotten addicted to it. It's driving my nuts, that literally all he does in his free time now. He's been trying his hand at video production and has been fairly well received. Just wondering if anyone else uses it.

I love YouTube and can certainly understand his addiction. I've spent scary amounts of time there from time to time.

He has spent about 2-3 hours a day for the past week working on his last video for you tube. Not including the time he spends watching them. Sometimes, I have this urge to just the darn thing ;D, and I would, if he wouldn't be back to it the next day >.

I actually prefer google video over youtube.

You can upload longer and higher resolution videos.

2-3 hours per day? That's quite a lot.

I'd say you can try interrupting the internet connection, but it seems he's working offline as well.

It may be time to outright distract him. Go out to dinner and stay out. Get some shopping done. There are always groceries that need to be picked up. ;D Run some errands - together. Go to the park. Whatever it takes. Get him away from the computer.

Tell me about it, a lot of the time is once I'm in bed, but still. Better things to do, he's only been doing for a few weeks now and was addicted to planning our house before. If it's not one thing its another.

That has to be the most frustrating thing. It's helpful to have an addiction that he can really stick with.

Hopefully, it will pass.

I'm sorry. BTDT. The only thing that seems to have had any lasting impact for us was a couple of rifts. I think he got scared that I'd had it and decided sharing a bedtime was a small thing he could do.

Completely OT, but the bed thing really isn't a problem, we sleep separately anyway (way different sleeping behaviors, so not compatible. When we did share a bed we kept waking each other up resulting in very unhappy people the next day. Sharing a bed was actually killing our marriage.) Anyway, it could be a lot worse, so I will make due.

I checked out Google video, i am wondering if i went to the right site cause there seems to be a lot XXX rated videos on there. Is it the link right off the Google homepage?

Yep, that's the link: Video.google.com

Try this link: http://images.google.com/preferences?

You can set the level of search on google. It may adjust what you're seeing on the google video page.
