I bet if we all shared DVD's just within our small circle of friends, we might not ever have to buy or rent again.

Netflix is great if you're a big movie watcher, but if you leave them lying around unwatched, it isn't worth the monthly fee. I love movies so it works for me. I don't buy that many anymore at all.

Im much preferred in renting DVD's because it is much cheaper rather than buying them all, but it depends on my type of movies.

I think buying is more practical. You can always use it for future references or watch it over and over without having to pay for it again.

It depends on the movie you want to watch. If it's something you won't watch again, then renting is preferable. But if you think you're going to watch the movie again and again, it will appear cheaper if you buy it.
