Default Scratched DVD's

I seen those products that you can buy to get rid of some of the scratches on DVD's and I was just wondering if they work and are worth the money? Thanks

By the way, while we're on the subject of scratches, does anyone have a solution to mending scratches on records? :/

I never knew how to fix scratches on records? I remember getting rid of them when they were scratched and replacing them. Now you cannot do this though.

Yeah it's a little bit harder to find records nowadays ;P
If I can find a better copy of any that I have that skip, then I would get it, if it's reasonable.

Water and a soft paper towel is what we used on records when I was a college DJ.

I wish I had that tip when I had all my records. I would have kept alot of them then. I got rid of alot of them because of the scratches.

I do kind of cheat and use the spit and finger trick when I see grease haha...as far as deep scratches go, I just endure the skips unless it gets annoying!

Well, I bought one of the kits that cleans the CD's. I will let you all know if it work. I hope to do it tomorrow.

Great! I've seen so many of these and they always try to get you to buy one at cd stores but I never give in because I don't think it'll work, so it's good to hear some feedback.
