It could go either way on the argument.
We could blame parents for not going with their kids, knowing what they're doing or who they're hanging out with.
We could blame the theaters for not checking ages of people going to see the movie (I think I can actually remember a time when they did!)
Or we could blame the people who make the movies...but since they make a lot of money it could be very difficult to get anything from that...

We really should just be more aware and stop and think sometimes.

My kids are younger so I of course right now know which movies they are seeing. Now when they get older and are going on their own that is where they sticky part comes in. I just wish as a parent if you are going to rate the movies then I feel that the theatres should just follow through on who they are letting in. In the end you are right it is my responsibility as a parent.

I suppose there really should be a better crackdown on theaters. It's the same as letting them buy cigarettes and liquor...you make the rating system for a reason, why abuse it to avoid the hassle?

It appeared they were accepting more and then bam Bruce Willis is all over tallking about his disappointment over the rating for "Die Hard 4.0"
