Was just wondering what was the last good movie that you went to see? Or the worst movie you have seen lately. Looking to head to the theatre this next weekend and was looking for a good movie or one to make sure I stay away from. I have not kept up on what has been release lately so have no clue what to see. Thanks

hmmmm...thanks for reminding me to get a life. i haven't seen a movie for the last 2 months! anyway, i have 2 friends who have both seen HAPPY FEET (they didn't watch it together) and although they laughed so hard at some scenes, they said that overall it was okay. they said the plot somehow deviated from the main topic of the story. nevertheless, i plan to see it in the future but only on DVD.

as for the movie eragon, my other friend has been telling me lately how he wants so much to watch this film. i didn't know anything about it before so i visited youtube to watch its trailer. i expected to just see the trailer and get interested in it more, but instead i got a bonus: i was able to read several comments of other youtube users who had seen the film and about 90% of them were not happy with it. they said the script was bad, the actors' performances terrible (except for rachel weisz who dubbed the dragon's voice). well, it could be different once you see it. i think most of them have read the book that's why they felt such a huge disappointment.

The last movie i watch yesterday only is Apocalypto, try to watch it, i will guarantee you that you will like it.

Saw Volver with Penelope Cruise over the weekend, and it was dynamite! Don't miss this one if you can bear subtitles!

We ended up taking the boys to see Happy Feet. It was a great movie, I thought. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Last movie I saw in the theater was "The Messangers". I only recommend it to those who like predictable corny "scary" movies. My friend and I were laughing for most of the movie. She didn't much care for it and thought 10 bucks was too much. I too think 10 is too much for the movie, but I thought the movie was alright for what it was. I wasn't expecting much.

"Flyboys" Aside from the flying part, I didn't know what to expect. Surprising. 7/10
"The Illusionist" Enjoyed it a lot. 9/10
"Little Miss Sunshine" Seems you either love it or hate it. I'm with the majority of "love it" 8.5/10
"The Covenant" Good terrible movie. If you like bad movies 6/10. If not, 4/10?
"The Devil Wears Prada" Saw this in theaters. Still the same on DVD. 7/10
"The Night Listener" Was at the theater during a special preview screening for it. Watched it on DVD... Interesting. 7.5/10
"Lady in the Water" I have no idea. I'm 50/50 on this. I'd have to see it again to make a recommendation. I don't really want to see it again though.
"Superman Returns" Some lighthearted stereotypical blockbuster SFX Superman. 6.5/10

Wait, Prince's 1990 "Graffiti Bridge"? hahaha I haven't seen it. I doubt the local video stores here would have it and I'm anti-netflix. So, what is it about the movie that you love so much?

Last movie I was in the theater was "The Messangers" which was complete rubbish. Great comedy. I actually liked it. To quote the friend that saw it with me: "it was so scary, i almost died laughing!"

I think the last movie that I saw was the one that we were required to watch. It was called Inconvenient Truth which was sort of a documentary about global warming.
