Backing up, saving storing your pictures
Besides dumping your flash to your pc, do you do anything like burn them to disc or something else in order to protect and save your pcitures for the long-term?

Re: Backing up, saving storing your pictures
I don't, but I know I should. I backup all my photos about once a year, but I should definitely do it more regularly.
I do store lots of my photos online (in flickr, my facebook and LJ accounts), so I won't lose everything, but I do need to get into the habit of backing up more often.

Thanks for triggering the lightbulb off in my head. With all the online storage options and the relatively little amount of space pictures take up, I could set up a half dozen back ups on the net for free.
Genius idea! Thanks Capitalist Junkie!

Re: Backing up, saving storing your pictures
You're quite welcome
I would probably be in trouble if it weren't for online storage. Of course, I'm always a little wary about the reliability of the internet, but I suppose that's the good part of having multiple backup methods . . . no matter what happens, I'll have something saved somewhere.

What are some good file storage places out there. Preferably something with easy sofware to drag and drop.

Re: Backing up, saving storing your pictures
I primarily use flickr. It doesn't have the fastest upload times, but I love it anyway. Photobucket is also a very popular online storage tool.

Re: Backing up, saving storing your pictures
I have used the online photo albums too, but those tend to expire if you don't use them for a while. Not good for someone like me who is way behind in EVERYTHING.

I did not even think about an online photo albulm. Does flickr allow you to view pictures online?
