Default Easier to maintain

I feel Digital Cameras are easier to maintain than it's earlier generation cameras. It seems they are made sturdy enough to live long.

I think digital cameras are pretty durable now, but they are also easier to use and have a lot more features than they used to.

That is always correct. The new cameras are coming with lot of features. Moreover mobiles are also loaded with powerfull cameras, so digital cameras have to be fitted with lot of features.

Well, yes, they're easier to maintain. There's no film to put in and take out so the insides aren't open to dust etc. Mine hold up fairly well, but I'm hard on them too. They get tossed in pockets, bags, etc. so they get scratched.
I don't use a protector because if I do then I don't get the camera out as much.

I find that they are alot more easier to use and alot more functional overall. Now my parents would disagree they don't like all the bells and whistles. It's funny because my dad will think he is taking a picture with his and he will have it switched to video. He does this all the time.

That's pretty funny! I don't have a camera which will do both because I love stills so I just go for a great small camera to get them.

Yeah digital cameras are more convenient to use than the older cams. Older cams are much expensive than the digital one becuase you need to have a film in it and once you had a wrong shot you can't delete it anymore whereas in digital cam you can take more trials shot and delete it. So easy.

I do it all the time. My camera takes pretty good video. My old camera also had the capability, but with only 2.1 megapixels, it was pretty poor quality. My new one has 8 megapixels, and the video is decent. As always, if you want to do really nice videos, you need a video camera.

Yes you can have a good video in digital cameras. All you need to have is a higher capacity memory stick in order for you to have a long videos. I do it everytime I wanted to.
