Who do you use for your downloads.

I'm a devoted iTunes fan, mostly because I have an iPod and therefore use the program.

I just hate the prices on iTunes. Otherwise I like the layout, the setup, the software, the selection.

You hate the prices on iTunes? I guess I haven't explored much, so I don' t know what prices are at other sites. Maybe it's not that cost-effective for individual songs. But I never buy single songs, I always buy full albums, and I think the prices there are fairly reasonable. If I don't like the cost of a particular album, I just won't get it. If I can find it cheaper, even buying it as a CD in a retail store, I will.

I don't really buy online. I can't really justify it to myself. I'd rather buy a cd.

Last night, I discovered eMusic. 40 downloads per month with a monthly fee of $10. Their library isn't as great as the iTunes library, but I bet a lot of people would enjoy the service. My anti-all-things-apple boyfriend is totally devoted to it. You also get 25 free trial downloads.

Right now, you can do a two-week trial subscription for free with 25 free downloads. I also bought a month's subscription, but may cancel after that.
