Re: What CD are you listening to?
I like dave matthews band, but i just copied the cd to my computer and listen to it as mp3, i also burn my music on cd's but its all mixed up, like trawn said "digital" music is slowly replacing cd's, you have ipods now, and some others mp3 players.

Not all that slow, over 1 billion tracts legally downloaded alone. This is what gets me though... people go out and buy cds just to but on the ipods, why not just download from something like itunes?

Re: What CD are you listening to?
Not interested in downloading, as mp3 files have reduced sound quality. I moved to CD originally because I loved the imrpoved sound quality over vinyl - you really need the WAV files to maintain that quality.
Also, the downstairs stereo doesn't play MP3's...I don't think.

Oh Lordy, that's one of my favorite CDs EVER. I would listen to it in the car if my kids didn't demand the toddler CDs their grandmother so graciously gave them.
Incidentally, I stumbled upon the short story the song Standing by the Sea was based on while I was in college. I was reading it and I kept saying to myself, "Why does this plot sound so familiar??"

Re: What CD are you listening to?
At the moment, I'm listening to the very first Michael Penn album, but my music is in constant rotation. I have been downloading most of my music lately, but I download full albums and then burn them onto CDs. That way I can have backups, so in the event of a hard drive crash, I won't lose my precious music.

Re: What CD are you listening to?
I love Dave Matthews. I also listen to a lot of R&B, Pop and Alternative. I have Dave, Blink 182, Green Day, Nelly Furtado and Jay Z in my stereo at home.
