I am interested in knowing this. Do you know whether live radio is really live? I have no idea on that but how does they record upload and stream live?

When I'm in the States, I listen to BBC alot during the day ....and you can have it either way. Live or pick and choose from uploaded shows. That's the only one I'm really familiar with.

Internet speed is really very important. If you have a high speed broadband access then it's fun all the way otherwise you will not get the listening pleasure.

Yes, I would agree that you need to have high speed internet or it just doesn't work real well. But yes I have found a lot of stations where they are actually live.
