Default ipod help

Hi everyone
I purchased an ipod over the xmas period and have started to upload some of my cd's using the ipod software that comes with it. So far, so good, apart from I cant download a couple of my newest cd's due to the anti-copy software on the disk. Does anyone have any ideas how to bypass this problem, the ipod software wont let you "import" the music.
Happy New year to you all.
Regards
Steve

Are you trying to rip the music using itunes, or did you rip the music then try to import into iTunes? I think that most of the newer Anti-pirate software will recognize iTunes, if you are trying to rip the music using iTunes. If you wnt to rip using somthing else, try hitting shift when you put the cd into your comp. That will bypass the anti-pirate crap on alot of CD's. If that didn't help, just google the individual cd to see if other people had the same prob. Sorry, i guess that wasn't much help.

When are record companies going to realize that if they make it harder for us to use the music we purchased, we are just going to get it for free next time and avoid the hassel. 'Course I haven't bought a CD in 3 years or so.

What record label is it ?

I heard that there is one that's in hot water for High jacking your PC to stop you from copying the CD or riping them . I think it was Sony .

But about geting the free music .
Well the Terrorist sounding RRII <-what ever it is . Send a letter to all the free download sofwere owners . like E-mule Edonkie etc... So those companys will be coming out with new softwere that will not alow you to download the copyrighted stuff .

But I had no problems yet with my iPod Mini.

I have had no problems. I usually rip it to Media Player then put in a folder and import it to Itunes

Its simply a storage device that primarily plays music but can also store photos, videos and games. Its extremely user friendly which makes it very popular.

I ma sure that you remember the walkman that was very popular in the eighties. Then we had the portable cd-player. Now we have the Ipod.

I think it will be possible to transfer it once you upload the CD in iTunes software and rip it there itself. After you are through with it then you can try transfering the files to your iPod.
