Are they showing an interest in seeing these movies because of the movie or because it "Batman"?
I know several parents with children around the same age that let them watch pretty much whatever they want (with some restraints). But personally, if it were my own kid I wouldn't want them watching it. I think if I knew my kid may sneak a heavy-ish movie in someway or somehow hypothetically speaking, I don't know. I don't know if I'd rather watch it with them and discuss it then having them watch it at some friends house. Like mari10 said... you never know what parts of the movie are absorbed.
